Founded in 1880s Stewart designs and produces the finest metal fencing available today. Beyond their fifteen standard designs, Stewart offers custom designs in any metal material and has an archive containing thousands of fences, gates and railings produced during their 150+ years in business.

Many products described as wrought iron, such as fence and gates, are in fact made of mild steel. Wrought iron is no longer produced on a commercial scale.

These fence and gates retain that description because they are wrought (worked) by hand, and represent goods manufactured by blacksmiths or other craftsmen working in metal.
